ok so i officially had the worste week... so so last fri i got really sick and by sunday was basically dead lol so i went to the doc and i had strep throat and an ear infection.. i didn't get out of bed till wed(so ya i missed all last week of school) i fely like death and couldn't talk so it was hell then finally on wed i got really dehyrated b/c i wasn';t eating o drinking anything b/c it hurt too much o swollow so i had to go 2 the ER and get hooked up to an IV.... then on friday night it was my rommoated birthday so we all went to dinner and i was feeling better so thought i could handle it... so after dinner they decided to go to the bar and have a drink and then drop me off.. well 1 drink turned to like 2 hours and i was ready to go.. so i went to the bathroom and when i came out one of my guy friends was like getting into an argumnet w/ another guy bout who knows what.. so we decided to leave to get out of the situation...... so were walking out and all of a sudden the guy comes out after us still wanting to fight my friend and i happened to be the person in between them b/c i was the last person out.. short story... the guy pushed me to get m out of the way so he could get to my friend and i got knocked into a brick wall... cut my face had to go to the ER and get 8 stiches in my face!!!!!!!!!!! ya great week!! |

hey all.... so i just got back from spring break on south padre and omg it was soo beyond fun.. like i had no idea what to expect but it was just soo so fun!i guess there was like over 120,000 people on the island over that week!! crazy b/c its really not that big!ahah so anyway ii managed to meet many many guys lol but 1 in particular hahaah laura knows all about him.. haha ok so his name is "KC" lol hes from Nigeria hhaah but he goes to University of Texas. he was sooo cute omg lol and soo cool. he was witha bunch of other gusy from there too but u would never know they were from africa they aren't really that dark. hahaha anyway so one night we all went to town to go to the club and on the way back i fell into a huge ass pot hole and like sprained my angle and could not walk hom so i was like gimping and everyone was cracking up at me b/c i like looked like a tool and i wouldn't let any of them carry me. annyway i hung out w/ him most of break but i found other guys too.... oo check this really creepy funny story.... so one night i was hanging out w/ thse guys and we got seperated at the club so i ended up leaving w.o them.. so at about 4 in the morning i get a knock on my hotel room and the guy i was hanging w/ was like can i come in and talk 2 u. so i was like ya but lets go on the balcony cuz i don't want to wake anyone up.. so we go out there and immediately start making out lo.. so b4 i kno w it he like takes his shirt off and thrown it off the blacony.. we are on the 9th floor ..!! so then he was like i'm soo horny right now and i'm soo hard blah blah and now i'm just cracking up cuz i like don't kno how to respond.. so then he whips out his u know what and i'm like what the fck hahaahhaha.. haha still cracking up at this point cuz wow!!!! then he takes his pnats pff so hes completly naked on our balcony and then all of a sudden my friend walks out and was like what the fck hes butt naked and runs inside ... so after trying to get him to leave i finally did.. and he was all pissed off at me cuz i made him leave "hard" what a tool lol sooo that wsa a long story short. any way i'll update later but i g2g do some thing sluv u all! rachie |

Ok well I am going to try writing again...You all that are on spring beak or just got back should update this as well because I KNOW you have funny stories from spring break and I want to hear them. Speaking of stories here is a funny one of mine from last weekend. So there is this guy named shuhei that was really good friends with my suitemate Liz last year. He came to the US 5 years ago as a exchange student from Japan and lived with a host family in San Diego and now goes to school here. Anyway, he is really nice and we were kind of friends last year cause he would come and hang out with Liz all the time. When I got back he started calling me all the time and inviting me go do things and we have gone golfing a couple of times and stuff. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago he was like a bunch of friends and I are going down to San Diego for the weekend to see the World Baseball classic would you want to go with us. So I was like ya sure that would be fun. I have been wanting to go down to San Diego anyway. So he comes to pick me up on Saturday and I am like where is everyone? and and hes like oh they we are meeting up with my friends in San Diego. So I was like OK whatever..not what i expected but that was fine. Anyway we drove 4 hours down there in traffic and I was sooo hung over from St. Patties Day so it was kind of a killer drive esp when he was like singing the entirre way lol. Anyway we get there and we definitely are staying at his HOST families house..and there are none of his friends anywhere to be found. Lol. But they were really nice so I was like ok lets make the best of the situation. And I am really hoping we will be meeting up with other ppl soon. So we drive to the game...and we decide to go to this restaurant called acqua al due. It was my favorite restaurant in italy and their only 2 locations are in florence and san diego so it was perfect.. and shuhei is like great my friends will meet us there. Well as we are walking to the restaurant it starts raining and the friends call and bail. Im like greeeeeeeeatttt. But we are at my favorite restaurant so I am happy anyways. My favorite thing is this blueberry steak (i know it sounds weird but trust me its like the most amazing steak you will everr have. blair you must try it when you go)...anyway so of couse i order that even though it it the most expensive thing on the menu bc it is definitely worrth it. Then the check comes and i had NO IDEA he was going to pay and shuhei refuses to let me pay for it..so then i felt rerally bad about ordering such an expensive dinner bc I saw the baseball tickets were $35 and he wouldn't let me pay for that either. So then we go to the game and it was raining and I think I was one of maybe 200 white people there out of about 30,000 because the game was japan vs korea. It was actually a good game. Both are really defensive teams so there wasnt any scoring until like the 6th or 7th inning and then Japan just stated doing aweseoe so it was fun to watch (I know suprising huh blair.) Anyway, then after dinner we go and he insists on paying for dessert and he only let me pay for the $3 parking. So anyway it was a fun night but then we get back and I was soo tired but he eally wanted to go in the hot tub so I was like ok fine its the least I can do. Probably one of the more awkward times of my life. I was trying to stay as far on the opposite end as I could. Then his host mom gets the shower reasy for me and it was like the most insane water pressure ever it like hurt so i had to get out fast. haha and then I am still sooo hungover and all I want to do is go to bed so I was expecting to just crash once I was ready for bed, but no shuhei comes and knocks on the door and comes in my room with these would you rather cards (ya cards?)...and he lays on my bed and starts reading them off and just does not get the hint that I don't want to play this game or have a long in depth conversation. But I tried to be nice bc he had been nothing but nice to me all night. Finally I get to go to bed and then in the morning he comes and wakes me up and says his host mom made japanese breakfast. So I get up and go to breakfast...and I have to eat miso soup first with chopsticks. Lets just say that didn't wrok out so well. Then the next course is fish with all the bones in it and these liek seaweeed crackers and then i dont even know what the rest was. And then the host mom was like I also made eggs and sausages for something you will recognize. mmm my favorite. hahahaha. anyway they were nice though but i hope i never have to eat any of that stuff again. lol. anyway then we went to old town san deigo which was actually rerally fun and we got really good mexican nlater...but once again he paid which was like another $40 meal. I felt so bad. BUt it was nice at least. Then thank god I had a sorority meeting we had to get back for bc he wanted to stay until 8 pm and get back alt like 11 or 12... haha but ya.. that was my weekend last weekend. probably one of the most awkward weekends ever. hahaha and i still have no idea what happened to his freinds. of course I get myself into this situation. lol. Well it is a gloomy day here. i am pissed cause it has been so hot and i was so ready to go to the beach. Anyway, other news is that I am officially going to CU in the fall. I'll be sad to leave my freinds but overall i am reallllllllyy excited. I think its definitely time and I think I def ned a bigge school. As of now the plans for the summer are to go to Maymester in boulder (if they let me, transfers arent technically allowed, but I think I might have found a way)...so I can do some make-up credits and get somewhat comfortable in boulder. Anyway, then I'll move to Denver and intern again at Brakes Plus and also take 2 independent study classes over june, july and august so I can still get caught up on credits and still go to the bahahmas with the fam and cabo with you all. So ya. thats the plan. I just gotta worrk on making it happen now. Anyway, can't wait to see yall. i miss you! UPDATE all of you. ok bye britt Current Mood:  bored |

CU?
Hey girls! Well I am up in Vail and i am having a lot of fun. It's pretty low key w the fam but it is relaxing...I have been doing a lot of thinking to about my decision to go to CU. I am about 95% sure that I am going to go there--assuming I get into the business school. I have been making pro and con lists and trying to look at all sides of it...and when it comes down to it CU really makes sense. The only real pros at pepperdine are my friends, possibly more post grad hookups, and that it looks good on paper. But as far as what classes I want to take, financial, and how much fun the school is...i think CU is a better choice...SO that is what I am really leaning towards. The hardest thing for me is just my friends i have made there. But my mom keeps telling me that my true friends from there will stay my friends...which I think is true. Registration for Pepp is March 13 so I still have a little bit of time and I am going to see how it feels as a decision when I go back there and talk to my friends about it some more and all...But ya as of right now I am pretty sure that is what I am going to do, and it seems like a good decision to me, like I am actaully pretty excited about it. I go back to Malibu tomorrow. I will keep yall updated. Speaking of updates the rest of you should do that on the lj. haha love you and miss you all! Britt |

hi my babes!!! wow it has been a long time since i have been on this thing!!! britt kept telling me to update lol so i will give a quick one...lol i am actually watching the nuggets vs the pistons and it made me miss CO sooo much bc they are playing in denver and it reminded me of new years!!! i miss u girls sooooo much!!!! umm lets see what is going on with me...well my spring break starts on fri and i will be going down to west palm beach to watch my brothers spring training...and i better be seeing you shell!!!! ya i have been really busy with school...every class i have all i have are projects or exams no hw, which sometimes sucks because i will only have a couple of grades but its ok. i have also been really busy with the sorority with being the vp of finance and all. i have never written soo many checks in my life or even the amounts i write them for. god it was soo hard to write my first check for like over a thousand because ihad to write thousand on the check...so weird! lol. ok one interesting thing happened to me last night. i was in line at arbys with my roomies and i was parked waiting for our food and a car ran into me!!! i was like YOUVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME how the hell do u hit a parked car that is right in front of you!!! lol there was no damage bc she was so close to me anyways it was just a little hit but still...oh and the girl goes "oh my god i am soo sorry i have like been out of it all day" ugh i wanted to yell at her and ask her if she was a dumb ass but i was just in shock that she hit a parked car that i didn't say anything lol. but ya that was my first any kind of accident tho it wasn't one but that was the first time a car has hit me ever or i have hit someone. but everyone up at school is sick including me. so i am going to go take my meds and sleep bc i got a midterm 2morrow at 8am! ugh!!! but i can't believe how fast this semester has gone already!!! only 8 more weeks!!!! i mean come on now that is crazy!!!! i miss you girls tons!!!!! and laura i hope u are still alive after your week off from school to get wasted!!! wish i could be down there!!! love you girls sooo much and miss u tons!!!! Some news...
Hey everyone... Well some of you already know this, but if you have not heard yet, I have applied to CU as of today....Nothing is for sure yet, but this has been in the back of my mind for a little while, and just being home and everything has kind of confirmed some of the things I have been thinking about. Anyway, it is not that I am unhappy or depressed or anything like that, because I do like Pepperdine...but when I originally made my decision to go there, I said that I would give it a year and if I liked it but didn't love it I would come back...THen there was Italy so that delayed things...but ya basically I still feel that I like Pepperdine, but don't love it. With that in mind, I am paying more for 1 semester at Pepperdine then I would for a whole year at Boulder. I have sort of just been asking myself is it worth all that I pay to go here? And while I like a lot of things about Pepperdine, there are also a lot of things I don't like and I often feel it can be really limiting because it is so small and so conservative...sooo anyway, I am really seriously considering going to boulder. I have talked to admissions counselors and think a lot of things will transfer but I may need to do some summer school to make up for it. But I would sort of like to do some summer school this summer if I can in boulder anyway because that way I could sort of get aclamated to Boulder and all that before the real school year starts. Anyway, I will keep you all updated, but that is pretty big and I am leaning heavily towards doing that as of right now. The hardest part will be talking to my really close friends about it...Especially because the majoity of them are halfway across the world right now... Hey gals I am sooo excited to come out there on Friday! yaaaaaaaaa..This week has been kinda bizarre bc somehow my midterms were 2 weeks ago and everyone elses are this week so everyones all freaking out and im just wandering around..i have lots of stuff i should be doing but i really don't care. it is kind of becoming a problem. lol like i just do not care about school whatsoever anymore. which is not good bc i got my first c on a big exam and i still could care less. haha oh well. hopefully i will get motivated soon bc i am in for a long run of school. I have to stay for summer school which means I am not coming home until the beginning of july. so that realllyyyy sucks, but the good news is that i can prolly go to cabo now. we should get on that soon. Let me know if I should look up flights or anything. We should check out www.studentuniverse.com..you can get some pretty cheap stuff as a student. haha i am such a loser I have been like scourring the internet trying to figure out a way to get back to europe. ahh i need to go soon! i miss it so much. i talk to one of my italian boys pretty much every single day. its the only way to keep up my italian so we go on skype and i try to practice. i am losing it so fast though. so that sucks. Haha i dont know if i called any of you the other night my roomate and my friend magaret and i polished of a bottle of lots of chianti in my room bc we were listening to bob marleys red wine song and it sounded good so somehow i ended up rerally drunk. whopps. well not that much is new here. Just ginishing up the overseas packages so i can get those mailed off finally and then gettin ready for CO. still no boys. haha my roomie and i figured out a very depressing statistic about the number of boys at this school anyway, she works in housing and apparently there is only 34% boys at Pepp in the first place then I would say take out a good 10% of that for extremely metrosexual or gay so then out of that 24% there is probably 6% overseas and then out of the 18% there a whole heck of a lot of them with girlfriends or just he normal things you realize with boys. haha so ya that is my fact of the day. hope you enjoyed it. Ok well better go shower. I just went to worlds worst spinning class. No joke the intructor prrobably said 10 words the entire class and she looks liked marge simpson and was awkwardly bobbing her head and just looking around the room fantically every 2 seconds. wow i am a bitch but seriously she was just one of those people that you don't even know but annoys the hell out of you. Yelloooo ladies. I'm glad we're starting to use this again! School is soooo amazing and I'm so happy to be back. I'm having so much fun and absolutely love my house and having 9 roommates. Everything is just so crazy because everyone is trying to make up 2 semesters in one. This is my last week of class then I have a week off for Mardi Gras. Parades and everything have started so this thursday through Tuesday will basically be a shitshow of being drunk 5 days straight and sleeping like 3 hours a night..... Then I'm off to Playa Del Carmen w/ Bobcat for 5 nights which will be relaxing and a good detox after Mardi Gras. I'm really excited... Other news, I pledged Pi Phi this week too which is really exciting. My pledge class is awesome. We got "hazed" last night aka fed a shit load of alcohol. They were just pouring vodka in our mouths and we had like 10 minutes to finish a bottle of champagne. Then they had group chugging contests and if your group lost you had to all drink another bottle. You better believe I was the champ of chuggin on my team haha. It was so funny, everyone was just belig and stumbling and like 20 girls were puking. 3 girls had to come pass out at our house and one pissed our couch. Anyways I miss you all. COME VISIT! LT |

UPDATING!!
HI GIRLS! Gosh it has been wayyyyyyyyy to long without this thing. I really miss all the updates..So ya I promise I'll start updating, but ya'll should update back because I feel like I have no idea what is going on. Anyways, things are going pretty well in Malibu. It is sort of lonely without all my good friends, but I love my new oomie and my apartment mates ae both nice. Our apartment is pretty basicl, but it is nice being on campus. This week has been super busy with homecoming and midterms. We lost our homecoming bball game last night which sucked, but Pi Phi won all of the competitions so that was good. I have 3 positions too so that is helping me get more involved...I'm the censor, on angel board and I am the overseas chair. I got all of our girls the besttttttttt care packages ever this weekend so I am really excited. Lets see what else.... No boys in my life. Valentines day was boring. ummm..Oh last week I broke my toe. I go to Russell and Seths once a week and we do dinner and a movie Mondays...so anyways i was ove there and Seth was laying on the couch and i was walking by and he grabbed my leg so i just kinda playfully kicked him and then he was making fun of me like I better not kick him too hard or I'll break something...So of course I was like no i won't and kicked him as hard as I could. And then we both heard a crack...and ya my toe hurt realll bad. but I was like oh well its fine. and i was giving him a hard time that he brroke my toe cause i didnt think it was actually broken. Well the next morning I woke up with a GINORMOUS toe and it was all red so one of my apratment mates insisted on taking me to urgent care...and well it has been confirmed that my toe is broken...haha whopps...but ya so thats that....So embarassing. Next week is my spring break. I can't believe it. I am flying into CO feb 24 and leave the next sunday. It should be fun. Can't wait to see you boulder girls. Well I better get back to work. I have tons to do still. Haha and I have to plan costume fo twin chapter. Hello everyone. Hope finals are going well. I've been really bored without you guys around! As most of you already know, Yuriy's dad was killed last week in a car accident. His family is put in a pretty bad situation now. His mother doesn't speak English thus she can't support the family. She's only held odd jobs like working at Dominos since they moved here about 15 years ago. They have absolutely no money and Yuriy has been self-sufficient since he was about 17. My family is in the process of helping Yuriy set up a scholarship fund for he and his sister who is 17. If anyone or their families would like to make donations for this or for the family to get back on their feet I know it would make a world of difference. I'll keep you posted once it is up and running. It will also be posted with the obituary which my mom and Yuriy are in the process of working on. Additionally, most of you will be home once the funeral rolls around. Yuriy has pretty much all the responsibility of settling all his father's matters since his mom can't communicate. He has been meeting with police, lawyers, etc. He's now trying to plan the funeral. If anyone would like to attend the funeral with me once you're home, I know it would mean a lot to Yuriy. Hey girlies I will be back in the US in 8 days. Crazy. I a having a blast in Italy for this last week or so and I just got back from Germany. It was awesome. I went to the Christmas market yesterday and then hit up the prada outlet yesterday. Most definiteliy dangerous for my wallet. ANyway, I know my mom sent out invites for my party on the 19th. If you haven't heard ur moms prolly have the info. I hope you guys can come!!! I can't wait to see you all. WHat are you doing after Christmas? I am going to Vail the 27-the 1st of 2nd and then I will be leaving for school on the 4th I think. I am getting an apartment on campus which should be awesome. whats good? so ya... I finally got home wed. night after being stuck in CO due to I-70 being closed becuase of severe weater in KS. so it was a major pain in the ass. then my dad wanted me to fly b/c i was like missing school and shit so when we looked into flights they were like 500- 700$ so that wasn't going to happen. anyway i'm back and happy to finally be back into my thing again. i am soo happy i go to see everyone over break it was great! def had some funny funny moments that i wont forget. hahah but i love you all and can't waut 4 christmas. peace out all. oo and ya what r we doing for christmas, b/c i need to figure out that shit lol. i think it would be good if we did secret santa , cuz that way everyone could focus on one person and get them somethung really nice. ok well get back at me... love ps.. soo excited for steamboat ladies, steph get back to me whenever you figure out the details. rach |

Hey girls! So sorry I couldnt call ya'll from Ireland and that I am sorta MIA. Ireland was incredible and things are super crazy here. I am in the midst of trying to finish a 20 page paper so that I can go to Germany this weekend..then after that I have a week left to spend in Florence and there is so much I want to do still and it is also finals week so it is going to be crazy so I probably won't be in touch to much in the next couple weeks. But I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU! I am really sad about coming home but then I just think about that I get to see all of you and I get really excited. It was so weird not being in America or to be able to talk to firends and fam on Thanksgiving. Anyway, I am leaving Florence the morning of December 14th, at like 6:50 AM then am flying to Frankfurt, then I have to fly to LA, then to Denver. Since you guys are 9 hours behind me I am not sure what time I get in but I know it is still on the 14th at least. And Keeks to answer ur question about xmas, I have a little somethin Italian for each of you, so that is what I am doin but I don't have to be included if u do secret santa or something. Also what is everyones plans for New Years? I am going to be in Vail and russell and margaret might be coming to visit but I wasn't sure yet what you all were doin...so I may have them come later.
